Dubai Dolphinarium and Dessert Safari

Lets get into the details of the second day of the trip. We visited the Dolphinarium to watch the Dolphin show in the morning. There is a small shop inside the Dolphinarium where you can buy gifts for your family or friends. Once we entered the main area we saw big pool and hundreds of sittings just like theatres. So if you want to watch the show from the front side you have to pay extra penny as it is called the VIP area.

To our surprise, there was a visit by school children to watch the show during our time slot and the area was full of kids in just a few minutes. The energy of the kids was infectious. We felt like kids while watching the show with them. The host of the show cheered the kids with some clapping and they were super happy. Now, the show began with a seal entering and performing tricks. There were two of them one was baby seal and another mother seal. Also, there were two dolphins who kept us wanting for more even after the show ended. Do check out the trip to Dubai to know how it all began.

Dessert Safari With Sand Dunes Bashing

After Dubai Dolphinarium, we took a short lunch break and took a ride to Dessert Safari. We had a private vehicle booked with VRVS Travels just for our family. In fact, we planned and booked all the visits with them. It was a black Land cruiser. The journey to the Dessert Safari gave us luxurious feel. Our driver Rashid was quite experienced and he shared a few details about Dubai along the journey.

Our first stop was at the riding point where we could rent a Quad bike for 45 minutes. It was a totally different experience as we were driving quad bike on our own on sand dunes for the first time. After that, we went to our next spot for sand dune bashing. The car drove at a high speed from one sand dune to another and it was a fun sloppy ride where each one of us enjoyed it. We stopped at one point for photo session and then went to a camp for dinner. If you are a vegetarian then you won’t like the food at those camps so its better you keep something handy to eat. You get unlimited supply of cold drink and water at the camp.

The evening began with “Tanora dance” performance which is their popular local dance form. It was followed by belly dance and fire show. The crowd cheered and thoroughly enjoyed their performance. We were back to the hotel by 10 pm.This was all about that day.
